We make living and learning a language in the documenta city of Kassel a unique experience!
In our summer and winter courses young people from all over the world who share an interest in the German language and are looking for an international atmosphere meet up. The exciting accompanying recreational programme makes for a fun time too!
Our summer and winter courses go beyond simply learning German. We combine intensive language training with topical themes such as Culture, Art, Acting, Study Preparation or Translation & Interpreting. The cultural and recreation programme during your stay here includes a diverse offering from museum, cinema and theatre visits, communal sporting activities, brewery tours to excursions in Kassel and day trips into the region.
Our summer and winter courses are perfectly suitable for DAAD scholarship holders! Information regarding DAAD scholarships for summer and winter courses can be found on the DAAD homepage.

Our guiding principle is that all course participants feel that they are in good hands at IfS! We are there for you from the start! If you would like us to, we will organise you accommodation and transfer from the airport to Kassel. We are there to answer all your questions and give advice gladly!

Accommodation The fee for accomondation, agency service and for bed linen are included in the price. Before you can move into your room a key deposit of 400 EURO is required. These 400 EURO will be rewarded on departure, provided that the apartement / the room is in a clean and tidy condition. |

Cancellation of course booking on account of visa problems:
Should a course participant, having registered from abroad not receive a visa, the course fees will be repayed to him / her less a cancellation fee of 20 % of the course fee. In such a case, the original notice of rejection from the German embassy or consulate must be supplied prior to commencement of course. On this point, see also our general terms and conditions:
