Course Content:
Experience language, acting performance and theatre in the "documenta" city of Kassel! We offer exciting theatre projects, recreational activities and intensive language tuition. This course offers participants the chance to improve their language skills while also being creative in a theatre project of their own. A variety of additional excursions also offers students the opportunity to get to know the culture, theatre and art scene as the history of Germany.
Each participant is graded according to his/her individual language proficiency. All linguistic skills are taught intensively in our language courses, with a particular focus on communication. Through the inclusion of cultural and scoial issues in the course content, students will also gain a better understanding of the culture and history of German-speaking countries.
Through a supervised project, participants are able to realise their own creative ideas and will be introduced to different forms of acting performance and theatre. These include minor arts, puppet theatre and dance - each guided and supported by tutors. At the end of the course, participants may present their own work in a acting performance. The course is concluded with a language exam and the awarding of certificates.
The course is supplemented with a comprehensive out-of-class program. Alongside a variety of recreational activities, we also offer a diverse program of excursions. Our excursions connect learning, leisure and everyday life and offer interesting insights into the German way of life, history and culture.
Kassel, a mid-sized city in the heart of Germany, is world-renowned for the international art exhibition "documenta," a large contemporary art exhibition that takes place in Kassel for 100 days once every 5 years. We will turn your language-learning visit to the documenta city of Kassel into a unique cultural experience!

Cancellation of course booking on account of visa problems:
Should a course participant, having registered from abroad not receive a visa, the course fees will be repayed to him / her less a cancellation fee of 20 % of the course fee. In such a case, the original notice of rejection from the German embassy or consulate must be supplied prior to commencement of course. On this point, see also our general terms and conditions:
