Course Content:
How do Germans live? What do they do in their spare time? Where are the best places to experience and understand German history, culture and language? These questions - and many others - are answered in the course "Learn German in Germany: Language, Country and People".
The course combines intensive German language instruction with project work and entertainment. The language training is carried out by qualified teachers. Participants are individually graded according to their language proficiency. All linguistic skills are taught intensively in our language courses, with a particular focus on communication. Students gain a better understanding of the culture and history of German-speaking countries through the inclusion of cultural and social issues in the course content.
A supervised project (conducted over two project afternoons) allows participants to take a close and detailed look, individually or in small groups, at a subject of their own choosing related to Germany. Students present what they have found out at the end of the course, either in the form of a piece of creative writing or as a photographic documentary. The course is concluded with a language exam and the awarding of certificates.
The course is supplemented with a selected accompanying programme. We connect learning, leisure and everyday life and offer interesting insights into the German way of life, history and culture.
